Oman ministry condemns Manchester bombing

Oman has responded to the suspected terror attack in Manchester:

The Sultanate has issued a statement condemning the Manchester attack, which has taken the lives of 22 people.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs released a statement about the explosion that took place following a concert by US pop star Ariana Grande in Manchester, Britain, which resulted in the death of 22 people, and wounded 59 others.

The statement reiterated the Sultanate's firm position on the rejection of terrorism, and all acts which threaten the lives of the innocent.

"These acts are incompatible with humanitarian values and principles. The Sultanate expresses condolences to the families of the victims, and to the British government, and wishes for a speedy recovery to those wounded," the statement added.
